Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NRG2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NRG2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher NRG2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NRG2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.

LUSC, LUAD, and STAD are the cancer types where NRG2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
