Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NR1H3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NR1H3 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher NR1H3 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NR1H3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and HNSC show a favorable association.
SKCM, ACC, and LIHC are the cancer types where NR1H3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
