Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NR0B1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NR0B1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 11 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher NR0B1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NR0B1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LSCC and HNSC are the cancer types where NR0B1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
