Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NPVF Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NPVF data layer compared with 11 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher NPVF Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NPVF expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SARC and UCEC are the cancer types where NPVF Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
