Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NPTN Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NPTN data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher NPTN Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NPTN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and STAD show a favorable association.
UCEC, SARC, and CHOL are the cancer types where NPTN Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
