Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NPNT Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NPNT data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher NPNT Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NPNT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC show a favorable association.
LIHC, LUAD, and KIRC are the cancer types where NPNT Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
