Across TCGA patient cohorts, NPM1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 8 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible NPM1-associated genes across cancer lineages are Acetyl-a-Tubulin-Lys40, p38-MAPK, and TSC1. Each is linked with NPM1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NPM1-to-partner and partner-to-NPM1 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, Acetyl-a-Tubulin-Lys40 grouped by NPM1-low versus NPM1-high in UCEC.
