Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NPLOC4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NPLOC4 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher NPLOC4 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NPLOC4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and CCRCC show a favorable association.
LSCC, LUAD, and CCRCC are the cancer types where NPLOC4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
