Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NPIPB7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NPIPB7 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), where higher NPIPB7 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NPIPB7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CHOL and SKCM are the cancer types where NPIPB7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
