Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NPIPB6 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NPIPB6 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher NPIPB6 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NPIPB6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and LGG show a favorable association.
ACC, KIRC, and BLCA are the cancer types where NPIPB6 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
