Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NPIPA5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NPIPA5 data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), where higher NPIPA5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NPIPA5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
PAAD, LUAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where NPIPA5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
