Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NPFF Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NPFF data layer compared with 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher NPFF Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NPFF expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
READ, PRAD, and BRCA are the cancer types where NPFF Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
