NPC1

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, NPC1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,544 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NPC1-associated genes across cancer lineages are PNLIPRP1, OR12D2, and IFNA5. Each is linked with NPC1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NPC1-to-partner and partner-to-NPC1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, PNLIPRP1 grouped by NPC1-low versus NPC1-high in CNS.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (NPC1→partner) and Y-score (partner→NPC1) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
