Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NPAS2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NPAS2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher NPAS2 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NPAS2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, ESCA, and BRCA are the cancer types where NPAS2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
