Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NPAP1P7 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 2 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of NPAP1P7’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where NPAP1P7 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types NPAP1P7 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as STAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
STAD and KIRP are the cancer types where NPAP1P7 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
