Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NOX1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NOX1 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher NOX1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NOX1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as MESO and COAD show a favorable association.

MESO, UVM, and COAD are the cancer types where NOX1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
