Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NOCT Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NOCT data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher NOCT Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NOCT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC are the cancer types where NOCT Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
