Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NOC4L mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NOC4L data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher NOC4L mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NOC4L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and LSCC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, LUAD, and LSCC are the cancer types where NOC4L mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
