Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NOC2L mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NOC2L data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher NOC2L mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NOC2L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and COAD show a favorable association.

CCRCC, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where NOC2L mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
