Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NNMT Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NNMT data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher NNMT Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NNMT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
ESCA, BLCA, and LAML are the cancer types where NNMT Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
