Across TCGA patient cohorts, NMT1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 16 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NMT1-associated genes across cancer lineages are JNK_pT183_Y185, Ku80, and MEK1. Each is linked with NMT1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NMT1-to-partner and partner-to-NMT1 results are reported.
