Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NME9 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NME9 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher NME9 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NME9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LSCC show a favorable association.
UCEC, LSCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where NME9 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
