Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NME1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NME1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher NME1 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NME1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

UCEC, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where NME1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
