Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NLRP9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NLRP9 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher NLRP9 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NLRP9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRC, LUAD, and BRCA are the cancer types where NLRP9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
