Across TCGA patient cohorts, NLK protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,442 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NLK-associated genes across cancer lineages are CST4, FA2H, and ACVR1B. Each is linked with NLK in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NLK-to-partner and partner-to-NLK results are reported.
