Across TCGA patient cohorts, NLK mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 42 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NLK-associated genes across cancer lineages are p38-MAPK_pT180_Y182, PCNA, and TIGAR. Each is linked with NLK in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NLK-to-partner and partner-to-NLK results are reported.
