Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NLGN4Y Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NLGN4Y data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher NLGN4Y Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NLGN4Y expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD, READ, and SARC are the cancer types where NLGN4Y Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
