Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NLGN1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NLGN1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher NLGN1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NLGN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRC, UCEC, and COAD are the cancer types where NLGN1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
