Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NKX3-2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NKX3-2 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher NKX3-2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NKX3-2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, SCLC, and UCEC are the cancer types where NKX3-2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
