Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NKAIN2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NKAIN2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher NKAIN2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NKAIN2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, SARC, and LUSC are the cancer types where NKAIN2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
