Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NIPSNAP3B RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NIPSNAP3B data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher NIPSNAP3B RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NIPSNAP3B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UVM and PAAD show a favorable association.
UVM, PAAD, and LGG are the cancer types where NIPSNAP3B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
