Across TCGA patient cohorts, NIPAL2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,432 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NIPAL2-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR1183, RNA5SP88, and TCP11X1. Each is linked with NIPAL2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NIPAL2-to-partner and partner-to-NIPAL2 results are reported.
