Across TCGA patient cohorts, NIPAL1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 362 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NIPAL1-associated genes across cancer lineages are RASL10A, PDGFB, and SPRTN. Each is linked with NIPAL1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NIPAL1-to-partner and partner-to-NIPAL1 results are reported.
