Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NIM1K Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NIM1K data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher NIM1K Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NIM1K expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
OV, LUAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where NIM1K Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
