Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NIFKP9 RNA is linked to patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NIFKP9 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher NIFKP9 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NIFKP9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.

LUSC, LUAD, and COAD are the cancer types where NIFKP9 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
