Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NIBAN1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NIBAN1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher NIBAN1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NIBAN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LSCC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, HNSC, and COAD are the cancer types where NIBAN1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
