Across TCGA patient cohorts, NIBAN1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 18,111 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NIBAN1-associated genes across cancer lineages are RASAL3, SLAMF1, and IL16. Each is linked with NIBAN1 in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NIBAN1-to-partner and partner-to-NIBAN1 results are reported.
