Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NHSL1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NHSL1 data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher NHSL1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NHSL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ show a favorable association.

CESC, LIHC, and ACC are the cancer types where NHSL1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
