Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NHP2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NHP2 data layer compared with 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher NHP2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NHP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and READ show a favorable association.
UCEC, UVM, and KIRP are the cancer types where NHP2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
