Across TCGA patient cohorts, NGLY1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 35 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NGLY1-associated genes across cancer lineages are Heregulin, C-Raf, and Gab2. Each is linked with NGLY1 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NGLY1-to-partner and partner-to-NGLY1 results are reported.
