Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NFIL3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NFIL3 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher NFIL3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NFIL3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, KIRP, and SKCM are the cancer types where NFIL3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
