Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NFE2L2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NFE2L2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher NFE2L2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NFE2L2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and UCEC show a favorable association.
ESCA, COAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where NFE2L2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
