Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NFE2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NFE2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher NFE2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NFE2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LIHC, and ACC are the cancer types where NFE2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
