Across TCGA patient cohorts, NEXN RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 24,268 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NEXN-associated proteins across cancer lineages are NEXN_S365, FERMT2, and KANK2. Each is linked with NEXN in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NEXN-to-partner and partner-to-NEXN results are reported.
