Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NEUROG2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NEUROG2 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher NEUROG2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NEUROG2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, UCEC, and LIHC are the cancer types where NEUROG2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
