Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NEUROD6 RNA is linked to patient survival in 15 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NEUROD6 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher NEUROD6 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NEUROD6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and ESCA show a favorable association.

THCA, ACC, and PAAD are the cancer types where NEUROD6 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
