Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NEUROD4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NEUROD4 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher NEUROD4 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NEUROD4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and HNSC show a favorable association.

UCEC, KIRP, and LUSC are the cancer types where NEUROD4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
