Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NEPRO Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NEPRO data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher NEPRO Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NEPRO expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC, UCEC, and LIHC are the cancer types where NEPRO Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
