Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NEMP2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NEMP2 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher NEMP2 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NEMP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC show a favorable association.

LSCC are the cancer types where NEMP2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
