Across TCGA patient cohorts, NEMF protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 9,324 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NEMF-associated genes across cancer lineages are L2HGDH, POLE2, and LRR1. Each is linked with NEMF in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NEMF-to-partner and partner-to-NEMF results are reported.
